I spent six days in Maine's North Woods in June of 2008 with the skies either threatening rain or opening up altogether.

During a rare break in the rain, a cow and her calf ventured nearby, offering a near-perfect reflection at the water's edge.  Unaccustomed to encountering humans (since the sensible members of my species had stayed home), they lingered only a few minutes before calmly retreating to the safety of the woods.
