Exhibit at Hampshire First Bank, Nashua, New Hampshire

Many of my New England Scenic and Wildlife photographs are currently exhibited at the Hampshire First Bank on Main Street in Nashua, New Hampshire.  The bank is located at 221 Main Street, Nashua NH (between Beckonings and Aubochon Hardware, and diagonally across from Michael Timothy's).  The work is for sale, and smaller matted prints will be available for sale soon.  If you see something you like and want a custom size, send me an email, and I should be able to accommodate you.

October 2006

New Moose photographs added

I traveled north recently to photograph moose during the autumn rut.  They were a little more difficult to come by than during the summer, but I was able to get close to a large bull and cow.  I posted three of my favorite images on the Moose page.  Enjoy.

York HarvestFest, York, Maine, Saturday, October 14th

Art in the Park, Manchester, NH, September 9th & 10th

Ryan's Run, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, September 24th:

For the third year in a row, I will be photographing the run for Ryan's Cup. (For more information, please visit www.RDA-Fund.org).  Because I will be traveling beginning the following morning,  I will not be able to post the images from this year's race until I return.  Expect to see something by October 8th.  In the meantime, i have posted the images from last year's race at my SmugMug site where you can order prints.  The prices are very reasonable and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the RDA Fund.  So order some prints and help out a good cause at the same time.

I will be doing the same for the 2006 race when I return.

York HarvestFest, York, Maine, October 15th

I will be exhibiting my photographs at the York HarvestFest in York, Maine on Saturday, October 15th.  My tent will be at the Village Juried Craft Fair.  This will be my first time exhibiting at this show, but I understand it is an excellent show, so if you can make it, I hope you'll stop by and say hello.

Beaver Brook Fall Festival, Hollis, New Hampshire

The photographs and artwork at the show this year were outstanding.  Frankly, I was a little intimidated when I saw the quality of the work being displayed.  That one of my photographs was selected "Best in Show" is an even greater honor considering the competition.  Thank you to those of you who visited the show, and especially to those who voted for my work.  I look forward to exhibiting at next year's show.

Ryan's Run, Chelmsford, Massachusetts, August 28th:

Greeley Park Art Show, Nashua New Hampshire, August 20th - 21st:

On August 20th and 21st, I displayed some of my photographs at the Greeley Park Art Show in Nashua, New Hampshire.  I met a lot of great people, and I am proud to say that one of my photographs of a cow and her calf earned First Place in the photography category.  I am grateful to everyone who stopped my booth to check out the pictures and to chat about moose and puffins.  For those of you who purchased prints, I am honored that you selected my work, and I hope you enjoy it for years to come.  For those of you who didn't but would like to, send me an email or give me a call, and I'll make arrangements to get you the print you want.  (If you live in the Nashua, New Hampshire area, I can even deliver it to you.)

I will also be exhibiting at Ryan's Run in Chelmsford, MA on August 28th.  See below.

I will be once again photographing Ryan's Run in September.  For those of you who participated in the 5K race last year, I have posted the photos of the 2004 race in the Events section.  You may browse the thumbnails, or you may search for your Bib Number in the Bib Number Index, which displays links to photos.  (Not all photos can be linked to the index, so review the thumbnails to view all the photos.  You are welcome to these photos, however, if you plan to print your photos, please email me to request a full-sized (uncompressed) digital image for best print quality.

June 2005

I returned to Machias Seal Island in June to photograph Atlantic Puffins.  It was my third trip and my intention this time was to focus on the interaction between the birds.  Most of my previous photos had been of individual birds.  While there, I turned my camera on the Razorbill Auks that also nest there in large numbers.

On my return from my tour of Machias Seal Island, I camped in Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island.  While I will confess my visit there yielded few new images, I did have the good fortune (and good timing) of visiting the Mount Desert Island Historical Society Museum in Somesville just as they were opening for the season.  While there, I learned that their annual brochure was held up at the printer awaiting a cover photo of the Selectman's House.  I was able to work with them to shoot a photograph, which now appears on the cover.

The Executive Director of the museum graciously offered to display for sale some of my photo cards.  So if you happen to be in Somesville, Maine, stop in and, if you're so inclined, pick up a few.  If you won't be in the Somesville area, you may also order cards or photos directly from me through this website.

November 2004

I first published this site in November to share my images of New England and the varieties of wildlife that inhabit it.  Browse the photographs and should you like to order any, visit the Order Prints page for pricing and a link to the order form.  I will soon have the site updated with an electronic catalog to allow for credit card purchases.  Until then, you may use the Order Form.
