In recent years, I have worked with a number of clients interested in either starting or enhancing a modeling portfolio.  Whether you are looking for photographs to submit to a modeling agency or publication, or simply as a gift for someone special, I will work with you to create the images you are looking for in a relaxed and professional environment.

Sessions:  The content of the session is entirely up to you.  I generally recommend a meeting at least one week in advance to discuss your shoot.  I recommend that you use that meeting to explain precisely the types of images you would like to create during your session.  Some clients even provide clippings from magazines or other samples they would like to recreate.  At the same time, I will provide samples of my work from  previous sessions that may inspire other ideas.

   Each photo session generally lasts two to three hours, allowing for enough time for several poses and outfit changes.  Since my equipment is digital, you will see the results of the session instantly, and you will be able to select photographs as the session progresses.  My goal for each session is to shoot until you have at least 50 images that you are happy with, from which you will be provided proofs (within 10 days) to select your favorites and to order prints.  

I am pleased to note that, to date, all of my clients have been extremely satisfied with the quality of the photographs, and found these sessions to be professional, relaxing, and a lot of fun.  At the conclusion of their shoots, nearly all of them expressed an interest in scheduling additional sessions, and many have referred or returned with friends.

Referrals:  Building a portfolio can be expensive.  While I do my best to keep my prices reasonable, I appreciate that the initial expense can be a bit overwhelming.  As a means of assisting you with this expense, I offer a referral program which could considerably reduce your costs.  Simply refer a friend, and you will receive a credit of 20% of your friend’s print purchases, which can be used to order your prints or for future sitting fees.  Refer several friends who purchase prints, and the cost of compiling your own portfolio could be minimal.

Prices:   A sitting fee of $75 covers the cost of the session and up to 3 photo-quality proof sheets (16 numbered images per sheet). 

Additional prints are ordered at a per-sheet rate of $25.  Each sheet consists of either:

Some basic retouching is included in the price of the prints, along with custom printing of the images you select.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that there are countless individuals and organizations who will charge a substantial fee for a photo session with the accompanying promise of contacts with modeling agencies.  While some are legitimate, many are not.  I have met several young men and women who have paid $500 or more, and have received nothing in return.  No modeling interviews, no offers, and even worse, no prints from their expensive photo sessions.

For that reason, I feel obliged to make it clear at the outset that I make no claim to having any affiliation with any talent or modeling agency or publication.  I will provide you with high-quality images that you may submit to any agency you choose, and I will provide those prints to you at an affordable rate, but that is the extent of my role in the process.
